Donald Smith

Donald Henry Smith, 71, of Uniontown, passed away January 9, 2016. Donald was born in Aurora, West Virginia on April 4, 1944 to the late Donald and Ruth Smith. An Army veteran, Donald retired from NFM as a welding supervisor. He played and coached softball for over 40 years and was an avid golfer.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his first wife Carol. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; children, Paula (Chuck) Reynolds, Lisa (Mike) Bookwalter, Laura (Rick) Schueller, Dianna (Basil) Adkins and Melissa (Miles) Hlivko; 5 grandchildren and 6 siblings.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm with Rev.
