Donna Augustine

Donna Augustine, 62, of Akron, passed away suddenly on the morning of August 10th in her home. She was born July 31, 1946 in Arizona and was raised in Munroe Falls before moving to Ellet where she lived for almost 40 years. Donna retired from Luigi's in downtown Akron where she worked for 40 years. She was an active member of A.A.R.P. and enjoyed being with family. Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Rose (Horvat) Mazzei and her father, Patrick Mazzei. She is survived by her husband, Larry; sons, Jim and Rick; daughter, Dani (Dale) Cross; grandchild, Gavin Cross; brothers, Pat and Tom; her very special friend Marie Keith; and many other friends and relatives whose lives she always touched with love and kindness. She will be sadly missed and happily remembered by all that knew her. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m., Thursday until the service begins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to A.A.R.P. #2213, 4613 S.
