Donna J. Cassidy, 63, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away April 18, 2005. Donna was employed as a waitress in Hudson for many years and was a former owner of Cassidy's restaurant. Donna enjoyed many hobbies, including fishing, gambling, playing cards, reading, and watching police shows. She was an excellent cook and loved to hold picnics and family gatherings. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Virginia Tate; brother, Bill Tate; and grandchildren, Michael and Jennifer Short. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Roy; children, Janice and Dave Williams, Debbie and John Larkins, Sheri Hovatter and Bonnie Lewis, Terry Hovatter, Roy Cassidy, and very special friend, Dawn Emch; grandchildren, Jessica Cassidy, Sharilee Lee, Carolyn and Josh Hall, Lindsay Short, Michael Burnside, Brian Burnside, Stephanie Burnside, and Katelyn Larkins; great-grandchildren, Jacob Lee and Joshua Hall. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park on Friday at 12:00 p.m.
