Donna Marie Grimm

Donna Marie Grimm, age 77 of Tallmadge, Ohio, died on June 17, 2023.
She was born on February 18, 1946 in Akron, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Elizabeth Marie (nee Clever) Kutscher.
Donna was a very loving, caring person, she was a pillar of strength for her family, they will miss her dearly. She loved to cook, bake, play bingo and play computer solitaire.
She kept an immaculate home and took care of her children and husband. She always found a way to make things happen for her family...they were her life!
Donna was an active member of the Stow Falls Baptist Church, where she was involved in cooking luncheons and any kind of church socials, she was in attendance. She was also part of the ladies who visited the nursing homes and shut-ins. Even at her own stay in Colonial Health Center, she could be found giving love, support, comfort and aid to other nursing home patients. She was self-less!
Survivors include her loving husband, Durwood Grimm, whom she married on July 16, 1982; her children, Ann Kutscher-Buza, Kenneth Patterson and Jenny Patterson-Howard; her grandchildren, Ashley Buza, Brittany (Craig) Miller, Derek Burt, Olivia Patterson, Owen Linkous and Evan Howard; and her great-grandchildren, Tyson, Alaina, Thea and Quinn.
Donna's brothers also survive, Robert "Bobby" (LauraLee) Kutscher, David Kutscher and Jonathan "Johnny" Kutscher and several nieces and nephews and their families.
Other than her parents, Donna was preceded in death by siblings, William "Billy" Kutscher, Donald "Donnie" Kutscher, Marlin Kutscher, Florence Cavalier, Dalene Carson, Ethel Potts, and a stillborn.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305, where Mr. Tim Wilkes will celebrate Donna's life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 5:00 -7:00 PM.
Donna will be buried in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Colony Health Center for their kindness, love, care and comfort they gave to Donna.
