Donna J. Wilkinson
Donna J. Wilkinson, 71, went home to the Lord on March 14, 2013. She had been a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she also worked as the secretary. Most recently, she was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Donna was a member of the TOPS group in Hartville and also the Betsy Ross group. She was a lifelong Cleveland Indians fan, scoring most of the games between 1980 and 2011. Donna enjoyed crafts and was a lover of animals.
Preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Theresa Ellebruch; and husband, Marvin. She is survived by sons, Michael and Eric Wilkinson; brothers, Donald (Betty) and Tom (Melody) Ellebruch; several nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends.
Her sons would like to thank the staff and caregivers of Allay Senior Care and Grace Hospice for the love and care given to mom.
Calling hours will be Monday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Humane Society of Greater Akron.
