Donna L. Johnson

Donna Johnson, age 85, passed away on August 9, 2022 in the comfort of her home. She was born on August 11, 1936 to Iva {Radcliff} and Dorsey Bennett. Donna was a women of faith. She enjoyed attending Maple Grove Mennonite Church.

Donna enjoyed QVC and other shopping networks A LOT! The delivery man was always welcome in her home! She loved ceramics and had many special pieces, that she gifted to her loved ones. She was a home maker, a wonderful mother and great friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Johnson; siblings, Rosanna, Denzel, Dale, Marie.

She is survived by children, Brion (Penny) Bever, Brenda (Rob) Richardson, Tina McAdams, Kevin (Kristin) Johnson, Thomas (Kathy) Johnson; grandchildren, Krissy, Kelli, Kym, Misty, Brittany, Amanda, Kevin, Kelsey, Chi, Erin, Adam;10 great grandchildren; siblings, Kathleen Lozier, Dennis Bennett; and her best friend forever Vonda Bolen, whom she shared a conversation with every day.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 15th from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron). The service will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at 11 A.M., with Nathanael Hofstetler Ressler officiating.

Followed by an internment to Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where Donna will be laid to rest beside her husband. The family invites you to sign the online guest book and share fond memories.
