Donna Jean Krizo (nee Welton)

Donna Jean Krizo, 78, entered eternal life on January 28, 2007 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on February 12, 1928 in Akron. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an exemplary listener and confidant. Donna was a loyal member of the Life Spring Christian Church in Akron where she was a faithful servant for many years. She was loved by all who knew her, and champion of the crossword puzzle. Preceded in death by her parents, Delos and Esther Welton, and sisters, Lois Combs and Karen Krizo; she leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 58 years, Don "Babe" Krizo; daughters, Bonnie (Jim) Jenkins of Tallmadge, Kimberly (Dave) O'Donnell of Cuyahoga Falls; sons, Gary (Angie) Krizo of Cuyahoga Falls, Timothy Krizo of Huntington Beach CA, Mark Krizo (Beth) of Stoneville NC; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. She is sadly missed by her brother, Dick (Bobbie) Welton. A special thank you to Deanna Davies and Vicki Hoffman of Hospice of Summa for their wonderful care of our mother. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 - 9 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Terry D. Baker officiating.
