Donna M. Gunnoe
Donna M. Gunnoe, 73, went home to be with the Lord on March 17, 2016. She was born in Cleveland, OH to the late John and Elaine Dietrich. Donna was a member of Victory Chapel for 16 years. She enjoyed collecting antiques, carousels and lighthouses. She also enjoyed painting ceramics. Donna was a strong Christian woman who shared the love of Lord with everyone that she met. She knew not a stranger.
She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Dorthea Switzer; and her great-granddaughter, Abigail. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 50 years, Kenneth; children, Richard (Jeannie) Gunnoe and Denise (Tom) Wiant; grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Walker, Joshua Wiant, Matthew (Sarah) Wiant, Tristan, Michael and Jessica Matta; great-grandson, Daniel; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Monday March 21, 2016 from 4-7pm and funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 22, 2016 at 12pm with calling hours beginning at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Pastor Robert Webb officiating. Interment Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Summa.
