Donna M. Syroid (nee Robinson), age 54, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 12, 2013. She was born on June 3, 1959 in Barberton, OH to Dorothy and the late Donald Robinson. Donna was a model career woman tirelessly pursuing excellence and advancement throughout her career at Evans Insurance Agency in Akron.
She was a loving wife to her husband, John M. Syroid, a devoted mother to John A. Syroid, Ryan (Julia) Syroid and Jenna (Matthew) Lysiak, a sister to Janet Culbertson, Tina (Tim) Strickland and Judy Robinson, adoring 'Nonna' (grandmother) to Mason, Austin, Lacy, Charlotte and Gavin, and loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Grace Bible Church, 5781 Manchester Rd, Akron, OH 44319. Final resting place will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron. Memorial contributions may be made in Donna's memory to the American Cancer Society.
