Donna M. Fotion, 66, of Akron, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Fotion and her father, Aubrey Tyner. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Larry) Slider of Green Twp. and Brenda (Larry) Oliver of Akron; mother, Alma Michaels of Copley; sisters, Charlotte (Wayne) Clair of Uniontown, Kathy (Jim) Karem of Copley, and Judy (Steven) Avellino of Akron; brother, Aubrey (Pat) Tyner of Ellet; grandchildren, Nicole and Austin; niece, Michelle Clair; sister-in-law, Florence Davis; many special friends. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Akron General Medical Center. Friends and family may call on Friday, November 16th from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with Dr. Steve Eremich officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
