Donna-Marie Dale Smith, 49, of Akron, passed away February 17, 2014. She was born in Akron on March 4, 1964 to the late Glenn and Christine Jones. Donna recently retired after 30 years of service at the Akron Board of Education. She was a member of Victory Life Church. She had a passion for crafts – knitting, crocheting, needlework and sewing. Her greatest love was her family.
Donna Marie is survived by her husband, Ron; sons, Jason and Isaac Smith; brother, Michale Jones; many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins and close friends.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, February 23, from 2-4 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will follow the calling hours at 4 p.m. with Pastor Cyndie Rogers officiating.
