Donna L. Osborne

Donna Louise (Johnson) Osborne (née Davis), 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 22, 2020. Donna was a 1949 graduate of Springfield High School. She held several jobs over the years, including working for the City of Akron, Shulan's Jewelers, and (probably her favorite) Cornerstone Christian Bookstore. In her youth, Donna played the piano for gospel quartets at church. She was a member of Riverside Alliance Church for many years. She loved her family and friends and prayed for each one.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Leota Davis; brother, Paul Davis; and first husband, Gerald Johnson. She leaves behind her husband, Robert Osborne; sister, Jean Murphy; son, Gary (Marcia) Johnson; step-daughters, Tensley (John) Bruder and Leisa (George) Vuduris; grandchildren, Jodi, Matthew, and Stacy Johnson, Zac and Ashley Vuduris, Deone (Seth) Swallen, and Jeremiah (Sarah) Thompson; thirteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Steve Bucy at 12:00pm on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 Canton Rd., Akron. Calling hours will be held prior to services from 10:00am to 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Donna Osborne to Chapel Hill Christian School, 1090 Howe Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221.
