Donna Diane Rawson

Donna D. Rawson, age 74 of Canal Fulton passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022. She was born in New Bedford, MA on September 22, 1948, the daughter of the late Edna {Maynard} and Donald Kern.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband Gary Rawson.

Donna will always be loved by her son Derek (Jamie Boasko) Rawson; daughters Dawn (Michael) Smoley, Darla Kline, and Julie; grandchildren Taylor, Peyton, Alix (Josh), Sydnee, Michael, Zak; great-grandchildren Beckham and Arwen; step-mother and dearest friend Shirley; siblings Wendy, Cassie and Tony.

Donna loved her career with the Summit County D.D., where she started out driving a station wagon, and retired from bus driving over 40 years later. She especially enjoyed driving for the Special Olympics. Donna enjoyed traveling, hitting the slots in Vegas, and cruising with Gary. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Donna loved her pets, and was known to have 5 or 6 dogs at a time. Her ornery spirit, great sense of humor, and incredible smile will be dearly missed by all that were lucky enough to know her.
