Dorethea Floreen Marie Tucker

Dorethea Floreen Marie Tucker, age 23, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019. She was born on January 26, 1996, in Chicago, IL.

Dorethea was preceded in death by her grandmother, Doretha Tucker, grandfather Floyd Tucker, and niece My'Resha Drummond.

Dorethea will be dearly missed by her three children: son Isaac Carson, and daughters Skylar Carson and Azariah Tucker; mother, Travanda Tucker-Horne and step-dad Kyle Horne; siblings A'Tonya, Travanda, Travaun, Theondria, Doresha, Tyquita; 8 nieces Jaymianna, Jazzumya, Jamella, Joyous, Makyiia, Royalty, Aubriana, and one on the way; one nephew Tyvante Garrett; four aunts LaTanya, Kimberly, Tamela, Consuela; one uncle Kearis "Papa"; and a host of cousins.

Dorethea was full of laughter, joy, and kept you smiling on your worst days. She was a good mother, great daughter, and loving sister. Family was the most important thing to Dorethea. She was a lover of fashion and design. Dorethea loved her God, and was baptized in Jesus' name, and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a service to follow at noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron 44305. Interment will follow the service at Hillside Memorial Park.
