Doris F. Frech

Doris Faye Frech (Bartlett), 91, went home to be with her Lord on March 20, 2022. She was born on February 21, 1931 in Spencer, West Virginia and was a graduate of Spencer High School.
After marrying she moved to Ohio. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Frech retired from J.C. Penney as an office supervisor in 1992. One of her favorite things was cooking for her family.
Preceded in death by her parents Winnie and Nellie Ashley, husbands Sterling Bartlett and Kenneth Frech. She is survived by her sons, Larry Bartlett (Vicki), Homer Bartlett, Sterling Bartlett Jr. (Arnita), stepson Kenneth R. Frech (Drexie), stepdaughter (Susan Craft) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Although she was an area resident of Ohio for many years, her real joy was returning home to the beautiful hills of West Virginia to visit her sister Betty Workman (John) and brother Wayne Ashley (Jean), as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
We want to thank Crossroads Hospice and Briarwood for taking such great care of mom.
Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd. Akron 44305) where services will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Robert Stephens officiating.
Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Hospice or Grace Baptist Church.
