Doris I. Bryan, 84, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010, with family and friends at her bedside. Dors had great love for her family and church. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ravenna, where she was recognized for 50 years of service as church organist. She played at many members' wedding and later at their children's weddings. Doris held her church friends close to her heart and visited many of them in hospitals and nursing homes. Doris was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur & Emma Goodman; husband, Harold; and son, Donald. Survivors include sons, Robert (Cindy), William S. (Annie), and James (Deborah); daughters, Janice Cater, Kathleen (Kati) Burger; (She and Harold became special parents to their granddaughter, Faith) 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Griff Sweet and Pat Vargo. Calling hours will be Saturday, 9 - 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ravenna, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment at Grandview Memorial Park.
