Doris "Jones" Eagon

Doris "Jones" Eagon, 74, passed away March 28, 2006 at Akron City Hospital. She was born August 31, 1931 in Barberton OH to the late Albert D. & Nora (Cunningham) Jones. Doris was a member of the East Market Street Church of God and active in the women's group there. She was a collector of antiques. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John J. Eagon in 1999. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen & William Faucett of Hartville and Jamie Eagon & Thomas Gardner of Tallmadge; son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Carole Eagon of Clermont FL; grandchildren, Susan, Dan and William Faucett, Ryan Eagon, Jared and Stacy; sister, Betty Conover of Warsaw IN; good friend, Bill Witmyer. Calling hours will be Friday from 11 a.m. - 12: 45 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. at Tallmadge Cemetery. On Saturday, April 1, there will be a memorial service at the East Market Street Church of God beginning at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor O.L. Henderson officiating.
