Doris L. Hook, 71, passed away March 16, 2009 after a three year battle with cancer. She was born October 19, 1937 in Central City, Pennsylvania. Doris was a homemaker and devoted herself to her family. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Traverse and Irene Sellers. She is survived by her husband, Steve; son, Mark; sister, Lois (John) Nosel; nephews, Brian (Melissa) Nosel and Keith (Annette) Nosel; and best friend, Beverly Guinn. Visitation will be TODAY from 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Mulcahy Funeral Home in Central City, Pennsylvania, where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Interment at McGregor Cemetery.
