Doris "Jeanne" Rothwell
Doris "Jeanne" Rothwell, 72, of Akron, passed away November 15, 2007 at Akron City Hospital. She was born March 22, 1935 in Osterburg, Pennsylvania. Jeanne was a lifelong member of Meade Ave. Christian Church, now New Horizons Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Selders, and her 2 brothers, Harold and Dave Bittinger. Jeanne is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jim; son, Jim (Jackie) Rothwell; grandchildren, Sarah Rothwell and Jimmy Rothwell; niece, Bonnie Rock (John). Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 19 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Bane officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m., Monday until the service begins. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
