Doris Williams Hersek

Doris Williams Hersek, 82, went to be with the Lord on February 4, 2013. Doris was a member of The Chapel. She was a real estate agent for most of her life and enjoyed travelling and gardening. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Paul, of 27 years; daughter, Karen (John) Wagner; stepdaughters, Suzanne Hersek and Gina (Ray) Holcomb; sons, Rodney, Allen, Stephen (Mary), and Michael (Laura) Williams; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 12 p.m. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
