Dorothy B. "Dottie" Snyder, 85, was received in God's loving arms on January 13, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. Dottie was born June 10, 1927 in Virginia to the late William and Annie Welsh. She was a member and soldier for the Salvation Army, Ladies Home League and the Mercy Canteen Street Ministry. Dottie enjoyed helping others including her animals.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Snyder and son, Mark Snyder. She was a terrific grandmother and leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter, Brenda Burns; son, Ken Snyder; grandchildren, Robin (Mark) Morris, Wendy (Chad Mook) Burns, Brian Starcher and Steve (Pam) Brightwell; great grandchildren, Erika, Mark, Michael, Brandon, Ryan and William; many great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Robin and Mark Morris and their sons for being her loving caregivers. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Private family services will be observed. John 11: 25-26 and Psalm 145: 18.
