Dorothy J. Bridges

Dorothy J. Bridges, 75, passed away December 5, 2019. Born in Akron, Ohio to John and Cecelia (Oprin) Klein, she was a lifelong area resident. Since 1971 she and her husband owned and operated Bridges Boats. Dorothy enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling to the beach in Florida, shopping, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dorothy leaves behind her best friend and love of her life of 58 years, Ken; children, Belinda (Paul) Bridges, Michele (Bobby) Fern, Rhonda White, Kenneth "Eddie" (Tracy) Bridges, III; grandchildren, Mikey, Monica, Kathryn, Kaitlyn, Mike, Brittany, Whitney, Carley, Zoey, Kenny; great grandchildren, Gracie, KyLeena, Daelynn; many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bob and sister, Shirley; granddaughter, Bryanna.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Victory Chapel, 32 W. Bellisle Dr., Akron, with Pastor Bobby Webb officiating. The memorial service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. the church.
