Dorothy H. DeLong (nee Papp), 89, resident of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2013. She was born on January 19, 1924 in Akron to the late John and Helen Papp. Dorothy was united in marriage on November 28, 1943 to Millard C. DeLong in Akron. She worked 37 years as a claims adjuster for Goodyear Relief Association.
Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Evalene (Jacob) Holzer. Dorothy is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years, Millard DeLong, sister-in-law Jean Fisher of Phoenix, AZ, niece and nephews; Tim (Nenita) Holzer, Dennis (Edith) Holzer, Elaine (Jim) Henderson and Larry (Sally) Holzer, many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Romig Rd, Akron, OH 44320.
