Dorothy Harrison

Dorothy J. Harrison has joined the love of her life, William J. Harrison. She was 80 years old, born on January 18, 1925 in Brownsville, PA. She lived most of her life in Akron, OH. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Harrison in 2000 and her son, William A. (Skeets) Harrison in 1968. She is survived by her loving children, Tom (Sue) Harrison, Donna (Bill) Cummings, and Dorothy (Bob) Humenansky; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; her loving sister, Grace (Joseph) Kramar of Niles, OH; brother, William (Leda) Seders of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; many caring nieces, nephews, and dear friends. "Thanks for always being there for us. Your example and courage will live in our hearts forever. You will be deeply missed." Family and friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
