Dorothy Pearl Hartman

Dorothy Pearl Hartman, "Dot", age 87 of Tallmadge, Ohio, died on August 2, 2023 at her home.
She was born on December 20, 1935 in Louisa, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elwood Hutchison and Muriel (nee Hayes) Moore.
Dot graduated from Springfield High School with honors. She was a faithful servant of God and the best mother and friend we could have ever had.
Survivors include her sons, Anthony (Cindy) Hartman, with whom she lived, and John Hartman; her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Hartman-Baretteli; her six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Karl F. Hartman; her children, Stephanie Rose Hartman and Carl Edward Hartman; her sisters, Betty Belle and Phyllis Owens; and her companion of 20 plus years, Henry "Hank" Smith.
The family wishes to thank CYO Adult DayCare for all that they have done for the last 11 years and Traditions Home Hospice, especially, nurse Heather and Dezire.
There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
