Dorothy Mae Billman
Dorothy Mae Billman, 81, of Akron, passed away May 10, 2008 at Akron General Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1927 in Holidaysburg, Pennsylvania to the late Lawrence & Edna (Hyle) States. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by numerous family members. She is survived by her children, George "Butch" Lloyd (Becky), Ralph Bailey (Sue), Pamela Barnett (Jerry), Patricia Connell (Ken) and Jack Billman (Debbie); sister, Grace Tanner; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron where funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Raymond Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
