Dorothy M. Reynolds, 83, of Springfield Township, passed away March 1, 2009. She was born Novmeber 6, 1925 in Bakersfield, California to the late Alexander and Mary (Azevedo) Thome. In her free time, Dorothy enjoyed camping at Atwood Lake, fishing, bowling, sewing, and crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Reynolds and several siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (David) Hickey; sons, Gerald (Vicki), Bob (Shirley), Chuck (Paula), and Billy; sister, Marie; grandchildren, Chealen, Tony, Shelly, Penny, Nicole, Laura, and Denise; great-grandchildren, Christi, Jacob, Jordyn, Samantha, Ana, Breanna, Laney, Anthony, and Logan. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., PO Box 2090, Akron, OH 44398-6153.
