Dorothy Iris Roman (Mishler), 103, of Akron, passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 4, 2018. Dorothy worked for the Akron School System as a lunch room worker at various schools before moving to Akron City Hospital in 1965. After 15 years of service, she retired to devote the rest of her life to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Augustus and Emma; twin sister, Doris; siblings, Paul, Glen, Russell, Arlene, Marie, Florence, Betty, Gladys, and Mary Lou; husband, John Sr.; and beloved children, John Jr., and Jo Anne. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Linda Holbrook and Patricia Korfas; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Per Dorothy's request, no services will be held.
