Dorothy Taylor

Dorothy (Dottie) E. Taylor, was born November 9, 1916, to Clark and Nellie Diehl in Greentown, Ohio. She passed away May 31, 2011. "Dottie" graduated from East High School in 1936. Worked at Goodyear Tire, General Tire and Roadway Express. She was very active in Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for a number of years. Also she was an avid golfer and moved to Little River, South Carolina for 25 years, playing golf 5 days a week. She became a leader in many golf clubs in the Myrtle Beach area. She was President of the Bay Tree Women's Association for two years. When her health failed, she moved back to Ohio and became a resident of Cuyahoga Falls Danbury Apartments. With her at the time of her passing, was her loving husband of 64 years, Edward P. Taylor; her loving sister, Betty J. Dunford Porter; her loving niece and nephew, Karen Dunford Reese (David) and David Dunford (Kathy); and many great nieces and nephews. There will be a private burial and service later at the convenience of the family.
