Dorothy Eileen (Brotherton) Trego, 89, of Springfield Township, went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2004. She was born in Dresden, Ohio on August 13, 1915. Dorothy was a member of Tallmadge United Methodist Church and was an avid Bridge and Euchre player. She is preceded in death by her parents, John & Carrie Starner; sister, Nora Roach; brothers, Russell and Earl Starner; step-son, Steven Trego. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, William D. Trego, Sr.; son, David (Marianne) Brotherton of Charleston WV; daughter, June (James) Reed of Woodstock, IL, Karen (Roger) Plaster of Green, OH; step-children, Margaret (Ronald) Whitecotton of Tallmadge, OH, William (Debie) Trego, Jr. of Sylvania OH; grandchildren, Scott B. and Jeffrey D. Reed, Jill Farino, Julie Rowe, Robert Brotherton, Lisa Parmeter, Karie Nahas, David Plaster; step-grandchildren, Jim Moon III, Mike Moon, Amy Baxter, Racquel DeRose, Todd Trego, Craig Trego; 11 great-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Glaser officiating.
