Together Again.
Douglas A. Rosier, 67, passed away March 29, 2021 after a brief illness. Born in Akron, Ohio to Ronald Sr. and Mary (Cutting) Rosier, he was a lifelong area resident. Doug enjoyed fishing, watching football, gardening and anything outdoors and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry; father, Ronald; siblings, Rodney Rosier, Pat Rentz. Doug will be sadly missed by his mother, Mary Rosier; siblings, Ronald Jr., Kandy (Curt) Stoehr, Roberta (Jim) Yorkey, Wayne, Dale; step-sons, Joseph Phillips Sr., Jeremy Phillips; grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Jordan, Jacey, Joshua; great grandchildren, Kayden, E'lizah; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Please expect to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. A private family interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.
