Douglas A. Shofter

Douglas A. Shofter, 67, passed away on March 28, 2023. He was born on August 26, 1955 the son of the late Robert and Janet Shofter. Doug graduated from Green High School. He was a man of faith and attended church services. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and NASCAR fan. Doug enjoyed being with his friends and sharing fond memories and stories over a cold glass of beer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Steve E. Clark.
Doug is survived by his children Melissa (Ricky Pipes) Amstutz, Heidi (Dustin) Sovel, Shane (Elizabeth) Shofter, and Amanda Shofter; grandchildren Caleb Minard, Christopher Lunsford, Tristian Shofter and Sebastian Shofter; siblings Pamela Kline, David (Ricki) Shofter, Linda (Chase) Clemson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on APRIL 15th, Saturday, from 12:30 to 3:00pm at Akron Turners Club (547 Munroe Falls Rd., Tallmadge 44278).
