Douglas Snyder

Douglas G. Snyder, 76, of Tallmadge, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020. He was born to parents George and Anne Snyder in Akron, on January 2, 1944.

Dougie was an extraordinary man, never a stranger to anyone and always a friend to those in need. His charisma and charm made him a regular everywhere he went. He enriched the lives of many; bringing flavor into this world through his cooking, humor, dancing and his passion for traveling! He was not afraid of taking risks, he displayed this with his successful entrepreneurship, a knack for gambling and love of adventure. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed beyond measure.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son, Tom Snyder; and sister, Dixie Roland.

Left to cherish Dougie's memory is his son, Greg (Carrie)Snyder; grandchildren, Isabella, Maxwell, and Collin; Jennifer McWilliams was like a daughter to him, and her daughter, Alyssa McWilliams; several other family members and friends.

A celebration of Dougie's life will be held at a later date, to be announced.
