Douglass Wayne Hendrixson, 70, a longtime resident of Akron, passed away suddenly on December 6, 2012 at Akron City Hospital. He was born on August 5, 1942 in Huntsville, AL to J.D. and Algie Hendrixson. He was a 'Teamster' for 30 years. Doug was a good man and will be greatly missed by his wife of 14 years, Marilyn; dog, "Butter" and family. A memorial gathering will be planned at a later date.
