Doyle C. Woods, 83, of Akron passed away August 6, 2009. He retired from Ford Motor Company. Buck enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, bowling, making wine, and bluegrass music. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Zella Woods; brother, Don; sister, Ernestean; and beloved wife, Margaret Woods and daughter, Rhonda Farmer. He will be dearly missed by his loving son, Jack (Jill) Woods; grandchildren, Jena (Butch) Rowley, Bryon (Crystal) Henline, Cheryl Henline, and Jeffrey Woods; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Dylan Henline, Evan Woods, and Allison Rowley; brothers and sisters, Louise, Darrell, Phyllis, Delmas, Dorles, Demil, Shirley, Dencil, Delbert, and Dana; many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. We would like to give a special thanks to Joe Corbin for all his help and support over the years and for being such a good friend to Buck. We would also like to thank Ron and Dorothy Williams. We would like to thank Jamie Newberry, Ashley Cales, and Amanda Reynolds from Barberton Manor Care for their special care. Family and friends may call on Saturday from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron and Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, 600 Riverview Dr., Sutton, WV. Funeral services will Be Monday at 11 a.m. at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home followed by burial at Talbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
