Dr. W. "Bill" Hess

Dr. Thomas W. "Bill" Hess passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 24, 2018. He loved being surrounded by his family no matter what the occasion. Bill was a longtime member of the Copley Lions Club, enjoyed playing Silver League softball, golfing, and supporting the Browns, Indians and Cavs.

Bill is preceded in death by his first wife, Ann; parents, Robert and Hazel Hess; sister, Mary McDowell; and several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving wife Dorie Albertson-Hess; sons, Karl Hess, Eric Hess; granddaughter, Nikki Hess; great-granddaughter, Gia Hess; step-children, Eric (Cindy) Albertson, Wade (Dee) Albertson, John (Kim) Albertson, Steve (Misty) Albertson; 8 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-granddaughters; and many other family and friends.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Broadman Baptist Church, 350 E. Bath Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. The family would like to thank the staff of Kindred Hospice for the excellent care Bill and all of us received.
