Drew A. Wright Sr.

Drew A. Wright Sr., 56, gained his wings on July 23, 2020 with loved ones at his side. Drew, AKA "Big Daddy", was born in Akron to Donald Sr. and Joan Wright. He lived in Orange Park, Florida for the past 10 years, where he loved to go deep sea fishing. He also loved watching his beloved Ohio State and Browns football. Most of all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his grandchildren. Drew was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Laura "Lori" Wright; children, Brandy, Eric (Cheryl), Drew Jr., Daniel, Brittany, and Michael Ferrell; grandchildren, Jordan, Drew 3rd, Shyanne, Paytenn, Ataunna, Alexa, Brielle, Dayanara, Ava, Avalon, Riley, and Ana; brothers, Donald (Lynn) and Daniel (Brenda); sisters, Donna Jo (Scott), Dina (Rob), and Desi (Scott); nieces, nephews, many family and friends. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 12-2 followed by a 2 p.m. celebration of life at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
