Duane "Pat" Lias

Duane "Pat" Lias, 86, passed away on May 29, 2024. He was born on March 17, 1938 the son of the late Harold and Grace Lias. Pat proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired after many years of dedicated service from the Norton Company. Pat was an avid sports enthusiast but his favorite past time was golf. He was a fan of all Cleveland sports and enjoyed cheering them on. Pat will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of sports, kindness in his heart, and great love of his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved son Michael Lias; and ten siblings.

Pat is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia "Patty" Lias; son Steve (Cheryl) Lias; grandsons Dylan (Emily) Lias, and Zachary Lias; great-grandson Sebastian Lias; brother Raymond (Gladys) Lias; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park (3653 W. Market St. Akron, 44333) on Thursday June 6th at 1:00pm with Pastor Raymond Lias officiating.
