Earl Hubert Anderson, 92, of Cuyahoga Falls, was called home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2022. Earl was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on December 7, 1929. He proudly served in the U.S. Army as an MP, while stationed in France during the Korean War. Earl retired from Chase Brass and Copper Company after over 30 years of employment.
He joined Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral in 1997 and was a proud member and longtime volunteer in the church's shipping department. He was especially supportive of the church's missionary trips to Africa and South America. Earl spent countless hours making beaded bracelets in memory of his wife, to hand out during missionary trips.
Earl is preceded in death by his wife, Leah, who was also supportive of the ministries mission trips. He will be dearly missed by his family, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 10-11:30 a.m. followed by an 11:30 a.m. funeral service at Grace Cathedral, 1055 Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312. The Reverend Chris Machamer will be officiating. Private interment will follow at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio.
