Earl "Ralph" Gardner
Earl "Ralph" Gardner, 80, of Akron, passed away April 28, 2005. Ralph proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for Main TV and Lamb Electric and was an Amway Distributor. In his spare time, Ralph enjoyed roller skating and was a skating judge for dances, figures, and speed skating. He also was a licensed Ham Radio Operator N8UAF. Ralph is survived by his wife, Judy Mae Gardner; children, Judy Kay Lepai (Patrick) of Kent, Linda Mae (Hall (Ronald) of Edinburg, Ellen Marie "Sis" Lalu (George Jr.) of Alliance, and John E. Gardner (Christine) of St. Albins, WV; thirteen grandchildren; granddaughter, Monica Gardner of Uruguay; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; father-in-law, Robert Bronson; sister-in-law, Vicki Faith; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Lee officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Uniontown.
