Earl L. Flower, 77, of Norton, passed away July 4, 2010. Earl was born in Akron on October 3, 1932 to the late Harvey and Virginia Flower. He graduated from Coventry High School where he played football. He was the owner of Flower Construction for 31 years. In his free time, Earl enjoyed collecting old cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Flower and sister, Virginia Mae Mulvaney. He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Tamara (Tim) Murrey and Kelly Flower (Glen LaPointe); grandchildren, Amber Kaman (Gary) and Matthew Kaman (Katy); great-granddaughter, Natalie Kaman; niece Denise (Joe) Schleue; brother-in-law, Charles (Linda) Meredith; mother-in-law, Virgie Meredith; and special friend, Jim Madick. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. with Fr. George Tarsis officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
