Earl Winemiller

Earl Winemiller, 68, passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 9, 2017. A longtime Akron resident, he was born August 8, 1949 in Fairmont, WV. Earl spent over 50 years as a commercial truck driver, operating Winemiller Trucking for over 30 years. He enjoyed camping, cooking, his Chevy truck, and most importantly his family.

Earl is preceded in death by his mother, Opal, and sister, Frances. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Peggy; children, Jodi (Bill) Dunn, J.V. (Crystal) Winemiller, Jaime (Brandon) Johnston; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Logan, Rylee, Aiden and Blake; siblings, Rose and Samuel; and numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will take place on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 1:00pm with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Peninsula, to follow.
