Eddie Lee Ahlstrom

Eddie Lee Ahlstrom, 39, of Akron, passed away on July 9, 2019.
He was born in Akron on October 25, 1979 and graduated from Springfield High School. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy. Eddie loved all sports and enjoyed rooting for the Browns, the Cavs, and the Buckeyes. He played soccer in his youth and coached the soccer teams of his sons. He was a member of Airport VFW 8975.
Eddie was a wonderful father, son, and brother. He devoted himself to his children and family. All who knew him will miss him forever.
Eddie is survived by his beloved sons, Eddie II, Cooper, Mason, and Maddox Ahlstrom; loving parents, James and Connie Ahlstrom; sisters, Jennifer Miller and Jody Ahlstrom; brother, James (Jacqueline) Ahlstrom; nieces, Courtnee, Rickell, Mackenzie, Morgan, Josie, Reagan, Sloane, and Brynne; nephew, Reese; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Eddie was preceded in death by his nephew, Ryan.
Family and friends may visit on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 12-2 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m.
