Edgar Winfield Frock

Edgar W. Frock, age 71, of Akron, passed away peacefully at home on July 15, 2024. He was born on June 17, 1953 to the late Clifford and Marie Frock in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Buchtel High School. Edgar proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He loved to spend time with his family, travel, ride his motorcycle and volunteer for various organizations. Edgar had a deep love for God and because of his relationship with Him, he was a member of all people and all places.

He was happily married to the love of his life, Christine, for 38 years before her passing in 2014.

Edgar worked as a truck driver before his retirement.

He is survived by his loving children, Michelle (Jim), Joe (Julie) and Nicole; grandchildren, Dominique, Gage, Matthew, Rebekah, Nathan and Rachael; special friend, Rose; brother, Michael; niece, Katy; as well as many other extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Christine R. Frock.

Per Edgar's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will be planned for a later date.
