Edgar L. Bissell, born May 24, 1939, died Feb. 22, 2009. Edgar retired in July of 2002 due to cancer from Twinsburg Coca-Cola after 26 years of service. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Barberton. Edgar was preceded in death by his twin sister, Faye Bissell, and sister, Alice Ference. Edgar is survived by his loving wife, Linda, after 18 years of marriage; step-son, Todd Metcalf; brother, Herman (Beverly) Bissell of Willowick, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m., with a visitation one hour prior, with Rev.
