Edith F. Moss, 81, of Akron, passed away May 26, 2010. She was born November 3, 1928 in Spelter, West Virginia to the late Calvin and Ethel Mae Byrd. Edith will always be remembered as a God fearing woman and a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ernest Calvin Moss; four brothers and one sister. She will be deeply missed by her children, Paul Moss, Guida Moss, and Nancy (Harry) Jackson; brother, Tommy Byrd; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 2nd from 5-7 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. memorial service, Rev. Russ Varner officiating, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
