Edith J. Johnson, 85, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away February 13, 2010. Edith bravely fought Alzheimer's Disease since 2001. Edith was born April 19, 1924 in Akron, Ohio. She was a 50 year member of the Yusef Khan Caldron and served as a past secretary. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam Michael Johnson. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Monark Johnson, Jr.; daughter, Marti Johnson; son, Monark Allen (Sarah) Johnson; grandchildren, Sherry (Joe) Mitchell, Arline (Dave) Booker, Jay (Mandy) Johnson, Terri Funk, and Carolyn (Bill) Fisher; and nine great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with a Yusef Khan Caldron service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
