Edith L. Kephart, age 86 of Akron, Ohio, died on January 4, 2019.
She was born on October 20, 1932 in Somerville, MA, the daughter of the late Sidney B. and Zella (nee Janes) Roberts.
Edith was an honorably discharged US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War.
Mrs. Kephart was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and knitting. She donated a lot of her knitting to several organizations in the area.
Survivors include her three sons, William D. Kephart, Richard (Sarah) Kephart, and Bryan (Shirley) Kephart; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her brother, A. James (Jan) Roberts and her niece, Kristin (Ken) Harris, also survives.
Other than her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Kephart; and her nephew, Scott Roberts.
There will be private services at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron.
