Edith Lorraine "Lori" Skelton, 92, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020. She was born to parents Carmel and Edith Green on December 2, 1927 in Sutton, West Virginia.
Preceding her in death is her first husband, Russell Brown; second husband, Howard Skelton; son, Russell Brown II; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly Brown.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Elnor Hilty of Huron, Ohio; and cousin, more like a brother, Gail Skidmore of Long Beach, California; granddaughter, Veronica (James) Knisely; and her great-grandchildren whom she adored; James and Jaiden.
Lori grew up in West Virginia, and she loved talking about her childhood memories there. Her family relocated to Ohio, eventually settling down in the Akron area. She was an animal lover, especially her cats. She was best known for her kind heart and gentle spirit, and she will be greatly missed.
Lori will forever be remembered, there will not be any services at this time.
