Edward C. Brennan, born June 23, 1954, has passed on as of Thursday, December 26, 2019.
His spirit slipped away peacefully and is guided on angels' wings to be with the heavenly eternal.
Preceded in death by all our ancestors and, who he coined as the son-shine of our lives, Justin, Ed leaves to cherish, Glorified Maria (Vallelonga) and child Darren (Karli) Brennan; mother, Mary Brennan; siblings, Debbie Mason, Arlene (Frank) Parella, Darlene Musarra and Chuck Brennan; grandson-shine, Bo Brennan; many treasured nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ed walked with a bounce in his step and a smile in his eyes. He cherished his memories with family and friends, and would never shy away from the opportunity to share his experiences with others. After all, he always had wonderful way with words. Although not one to follow many societal rules, Ed believed deeply in the teachings of Christ and following the path laid by the Queen of Heaven. May we rise with him.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305 from 5pm-8pm. A mass of Christian burial will take place the following morning at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2580 Berne St., Akron, OH 44312, at 11 am with Fr. Michael Williamson officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated c/o Darren Brennan, 241 Lownsdale Ave., Akron, OH 44313.
